This is a listed “Matching Accessory” for the Attain C62 SLT on Cube website but the front mudguard cannot be fitted to the front fork. The lower/longer rods are too short (circa 1 inch) so it does not reach the fork to be secured - see picture. Rear guard fits ok. This issue is same both with the mudguard hard pressed against the tyre and with a 6mm gap. Please advise what I am doing wrong as I cannot see how the lower longer rod is long enough. See pictures that show the rod cannot physically reach the female connection point for securing noting I have tried multiple positions even with the vertical rod that is supposed to be parallel to the fork being pushed through behind the fork. Tried sorting this with retailer 2 times but he is not helpful at all. He won’t even look at it for 5 minutes to see how short the rod is.
